2017 was a whirlwind on my end! It was filled with so many great moments, and so many challenges. With every challenge you face, you become stronger and wiser (well, I’d like to think so at least). I am looking into 2018 with a new set of eyes, goals, and excitement!
First, I’d like to thank YOU. Thank you for reading and listening about the ups and downs of this past year for me. Thank you for coming along on this journey with me. Thank you for motivating me to keep writing. And mostly, thank you for being you!
I started this blog not too long ago with hopes that I could help other people know that they are not alone on their TTC journey or pregnancy loss. I have found writing to be the perfect outlet for myself to heal and recover from loss and if it can help others as well, then I am all for it! I feel unbelievably blessed to hear YOUR personal stories that ignite from this blog and to be a pair of listening ears for y’all when you need it. The messages, comments, and emails I get on a daily basis are part of what keeps me going, so thank you!
My goals for 2018 are geared toward living the best life I can possibly live. Obviously the number 1 goal is to have a baby (but I am also letting life take me where I need to go), but I am also looking forward to conquering my anxiety, getting back on track with some healthy living routines (diet, exercise, church…I know, cliche, right?! haha), and spending as much time with my family and friends as possible. Remembering that life is precious and that God has a purpose and plan for each of us is what is driving my goals or “New Years Resolutions,” if you will.
I am excited to keep writing and to bring you all a little more into my life through my TTC journey, home decor, new food/drink adventures, and whatever else life throws my way! My eyes are open, spirits are positive, hand in my hubby’s and our dog at our side. My hope is that 2018 will bring YOU and your loved ones beautiful things and give you enough strength to fight any battles that may come your way. Together, we can do anything! Cheers!
